Why is it that Bolivians need to be so late for every damn thing. Or not turn up at all? Now, this isn't the case for EVERYone. Most of my English students turn up. But this is third who hasn't turned up in two days (letting me email in this spare hour). Maybe it's me *checks his armpits*.
Anyone got any genuine (or not) historical or cultural explanations for "Bolivian time"?
Your FNBC.

If the person who is late is a male then I will not say anymore..........I think you know what I was going to say?????? Love ya
Janice: Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! about the male vs. female late thing. I´ve been on so many dates (with females, I´ll clarify) here in Bolivia and I don´t think a single Bolivian girl has ever shown up less than twenty minutes late to a given meeting point. I always show up on time hoping against hope that one day... some day... a Bolivian girl will actually show up to a date on time. Bolivian lateness is not just a guy thing!
Ooh! My first Michael-less conversation! How exciting!
Marty.....I am only speaking for myself. Michael does not know the concept of time as does my husband or my son......Is this true Michael??????? Marty, you would have to be the first male to give a dam about time....what a change. Anyway who are you?????:)
i always try to be at time...
but all the world is against u... hahaha.. u know the micreros and taxistas....
jajajaja
all right all right...
i will be at time next time :P
kisses and hugs of hope!
